Looks like life is imitating art! Gossip Girl costars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley – who have coyly sidestepped relationship rumors – enjoy a steamy kiss in the pool during a romantic getaway last weekend to Paraiso de la Bonita, a luxury resort in Mexico’s Mayan Riviera.
Sparkling Stars online magazine currently have a poll up for who you would like to be there Sparkling Stars revolution girl and Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively, Kristen Bell, and Michelle Trachtenberg are some of the choice out of many others.
Which “C” was confused by the crowd waiting in the lobby of the People’s Improv Theater on Friday night? That “C” would be me. I was there for “The Ultimate Gossip Girl Summit,” and I don’t know why all of the quasi-hipster, ballet-flatted women in their late twenties surprised me, but I was a little knocked off my game.
If it really were a room full of tweenage fans, giggling childishly and frantically typing away on their sidekicks, that’d be a little too scary for words. But it would’ve been nice to see a few of them, or at least their adult world equivalent: the homosexual male. Thanks to all those that knew enough to go online beforehand, the show had already sold out before people even started filing in to buy tickets. Apparently, Gossip Girl fans are no joke.
About 10 minutes before the show, a startlingly handsome pair of men pushed their way to the front of the crowd: the gays had arrived. A wash of confusion swept over their startlingly handsome gay guy faces when they were told, “I’m sorry, the show is sold out.” I rapidly texted Melanie, “OMFG, there evn turning th gays away from The Gossip Girl Summit…” She replied with lightning speed “GASP! This sh*t is serious!!”
We still don’t know what exactly Gossip Girl’s Serena (Blake Lively) and Georgina (Michelle Trachtenburg) did that drove them to leave New York, but EW.com can exclusively reveal that The CW’s hit will return for season 2 on Monday, Sept. 1. Look for that first episode to feature cast members OMG-ing and LOL-ing in the Hamptons. The CW will offiically announce their schedule in New York during next week’s Upfront presentations.
Ed Westwick’s Chuck is the cause of much drama and trouble on Gossip Girl, but in real life, the actor says he’s been the victim more than he has an antagonist.
The 20-year-old actor grew up with two older brothers, who had their own way of bullying him — much like the dismissive elder sibling character he plays in his new flick Son of Rambow.
“My middle brother, Will, could be a demon,” Ed tells OK! “He pushed me off a stool and broke my arm. But he used to take me on his adventures in back of my parents’ house. There’s a small forest area where we used to build treehouses. One time, he pushed me out of the treehouse. I had a sore back for days.”
Such abuse is typical of brother relationships, Ed says, and it’s almost an unwritten rule that “you treat your brother like – for the lack of a better word – s***.”

Chemistry on set is a bit more of a challenge to find on set, but it doesn’t look hard for Leighton and Adrian. Here they are seen shooting a scene at Urth Cafe in West Hollywood. She seems to be into him, don’t ya think?

The Stoli Hotel has hit New York City. The club that launched in Los Angeles and made its way to Miami, Chicago is now in NYC.
Last night “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford made it out to check out the hip venue along with “Sex And The City” star Jason Lewis. Chace and Jason checked into the elite Suite while music innovator DJ Vice took to the decks. The Vip room pays homage to the Stoli ultra-luxury vodka, Stolichnaya elit.
The Stoli Hotel features diverse events incorporating music, film and fashion. Make sure to check out this spot because it leaves the big apple on May 17th. As for the next destination, it might be on the West Coast.
While Chace Crawford’s Gossip Girl character Nate Archibald may hit all the New York hotspots, in real life the actor plays it cool – especially when it comes to first dates.
“The ideal, I think, when you’re starting out, is something low-key, like playing the [Nintendo] Wii, ordering in pizza and then grabbing a beer,” Crawford, 22, told PEOPLE at Wednesday’s launch of the Stoli Hotel in Manhattan.
But come time to step out, the actor says he’d take off “to a concert in Central Park or an NBA basketball game, if she likes sports.” (His teams of choice? “The Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys – I’m a Texas kid!”)
Crawford famously dated Carrie Underwood – until the pair split up over text message – but now says he’s single, being so busy with work and his fitness regimen.
“Part of me being single is focusing on my work right now,” says Crawford, who joked, “I’ve been dating my gym bag for a while now.”
When in a relationship, though, the Gossip guy finds himself getting creative in the gift department.
“I like to do artwork and draw,” he says. “I did a big beautiful drawing – and it was very meaningful to [my girlfriend], and she loved it … that’s the kind of stuff that I like to do.”

True, the first thing you think of when you hear Gossip Girl is probably a bunch rich, horny, young people doing scandalous deeds against the balmy backdrop of a perfect NYC. However, like all actors, when the camera turns off they’re all just a bunch of normal people doing regular old things. And nowadays being regular means GOING GREEN!!!
Industry vet and Gossip Girl regular Kelly Rutherford recently told US magazine that she’s officially gone green. That’s right, Kelly and her husband are building an eco-house complete with denim insulation, earth-friendly lighting, and all the other bells and whistles you might expect in eco-architechture. And what inspired the change? None other than her brand new 18-month-old baby. Kelly said, “You think: Wow, they come in so pure, you want to keep it that way.”
Kelly isn’t the first celeb to develop green baby inspiration. In fact, in the past few months Ecorazzi has told you all about the maternal environmental awakenings of stars like Julia Roberts and Melissa Joan Hart. But you don’t need a bun in the oven to get serious about the environment. Just throw on that organic cotton shirt, hop in your solar powered car and head down to the local used bookstore and pick up one of the many inspirational green books now available. I mean if the Gossip Girls are doing it, it must be cool. Right?

Do not despair! The show’s charms are bigger than all of us. Blair and Chuck continue to dance around each other, and things get complicated in the season finale…But not as complicated as things get for Lily! Let’s just say she isn’t done with Rufus, but she will also be walking down the aisle to Bart.
