You Know You Love Me » Blog Archive » Fashion Book Poll: Gladiator Sandals
23 July, 2008 | Fashion Book Poll: Gladiator Sandals

I’m currently putting together a new fashion book and I want your input, Gladiator Sandals, this summers trend, are you a “Yes I Love Them”, or “No I hate them”. Place your votes. If you have a comment on them that you would like to go in the fashion book, leave one on comments.

Thanks everyone for voting, if you dont mind, I would love some comments on why you chose yes or no, so if you could leave one in the comments, or the cbox that would be great.

For the record, I chose ‘yes’. There are definitely different types of gladiator sandals. I recently saw a picture of MK Olsen wearing knee high gladiators and thought they looked awful…but the normal type - ankle high are definitely a fresh look. I haven’t seen them being worn for a long time and since I like elements of the Grecian/Roman Empire style I think they bring something new into our closets (I personally haven’t gotten my pair yet, but that’s because I’m picky and can’t find the right ones for me :P). I used to love ballet flats but they’ve gotten boring. I don’t wear heels, flip-flops don’t always go with what you wear and where you’re going so gladiators seem to be the right sandal for anyone. However, a must is them being comfortable…I’ve seen so many great looking shoes that were badly made, from the wrong materials etc. and weren’t at all comfortable. That’s my two cents into this. Hope it helped :))) Sorry for the length!

Wow thanks Megan, I think I might have to edit it a bit lol! It’s a tad long

    megan Says:

Hehe…no problem. I thought I’d just express my opinion - never thought you’fd use it ;) LOL. Go ahead and edit, cut, copy…whatever you want to do! :) Glad I could help!
