I found out for myself when I got the chance to work out with the Gossip Girl star at Club H Fitness in midtown New York. Taylor showed up to the gym sporting her signature kohl-rimmed eyes and wearing black liquid leggings topped with a vintage leopard-print coat, tailored to current perfection. During the workout, she rocked Nike’s newest gear, like the super-sleek Zoom Sister One+ sneakers! Over the course of our workout, I found out some interesting facts about Taylor, like her favorite snack is Animal Crackers–dipped in water!–and that she hopes to release an album with her band. You read it here first! Kate French has been cast in a guest spot on Gossip Girl, the TV Fanatic has learned.

Kate currently stars on The L Word as outrageous actress Nikki Stevens, who is often seen in her birthday suit on the provocative series.

On Gossip Girl, Kate will play Elle, a mysterious nanny who comes to town and gets involved with Ed Westwick’s Chuck Bass.

Elle’s arrival sounds like it’s just in time with Chuck spiraling out of control over his father’s death, and his way hot uncle encouraging his bad habits.

No word yet on whether Kate be sporting the same lack of wardrobe for her XOXO stint!

Catch Gossip Girl Mondays at 8 p.m. on The CW.

The L Word, final season, kicks off Sunday, Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.

Shut the front door! Back in early December, I also reported plans to bring back Georgina toward the end of this season, and FYI, that’s what I’m still hearing—and not just from my sworn frenemy. I still think she’s the most solid candidate for the spinoff, BTW. But you didn’t hear that from me!

They’re spoiled brats on TV, but the cast and crew of “Gossip Girl” showed their true colors Monday by donating a quarter-ton of food to the Daily News feed-the-hungry campaign.

At the Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, where the popular series on the life and loves of snooty upper East Side teens is filmed, crew members brought out 500 pounds of canned food.

A City Harvest truck was there for the pickup. The collection, which also includes nonperishable items, was delivered to one of the more than 600 community centers served by City Harvest.

Production of “Gossip Girl” resumed Sundayy after a break for the holidays.

In the series, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) lives with her mother, Lily, and little brother, Eric, at the Palace Hotel.

The mother in the series has a deep dislike for Brooklyn, so it was only fitting that the Silvercup facility in Queens was the scene of the latest donation to the Daily News-City Harvest food drive

The former bakery site was the primary shooting facility for “The Sopranos” and “Sex and the City.” It also is used for commercials, perhaps the most famous being the American Express ad featuring Tina Fey.

In this season of need, New Yorkers are responding to the Daily News Readers Care to Feed the Hungry Canned Food Drive and Kids Can Help Week.

Preliminary figures show New York adults and schoolchildren have donated more than the 770,000 pounds collected in last year’s drive. This year’s drive ends Friday.
