Kelly Rutherford, who plays Lily van der Woodsen on CW’s hit show Gossip Girl, has revealed the identity of the male characters who is soon to come out of the closet on the show.

Rutherford told US Magazine Tuesday that it is her son on the show, Eric van der Woodsen (played by Connor Paolo), that will admit he’s gay in an upcoming episode. The episode has already been taped, the actress said, but she didn’t reveal when the episode will go on the air.
